Setting the command window buffer size
For carrying out certain diagnostics such as
viewing HTTP headers, it's useful to increase the
buffer size of a Windows command window (the equivalent of a
terminal on other operating systems). To open a command window
and change its buffer size, proceed as follows:
- click on the Start menu and choose Run;
- right-click in the top left corner of the title bar and
choose Properties;
- select the Layout tab;
- set the width and height in the Screen Buffer Size section
to something nice and big.
